India:
Indore bagged the top position among 10 most cleanest cities of India, Urban Development minister M.Venkaiah Naidu released the list as per Swachch Sarvekshan 2017.
Earlier where Mysuru topped the list in 2016, got 5th ranking as Indore topped the chart. “Nearly 37 lakh citizens participated in this survey and gave their valuable feedback on their municipalities performance”Venkaiah Naidu said during the release of the list in New Delhi.
The list as per release are as following:
1. Indore
2. Bhopal
3.Vishakhapatanam
4. Surat
5. Mysuru
6. Tiruchirapalli
7. New Delhi ( NDMC areas)
8. Navi Mumbai
9. Tirupati
10. Vadodra

As per the list of the most dirtiest cities, is from Uttar Pradesh , Gonda at the bottom, two cities from Bihar and Punjab and one each from Uttarakhand and Maharashtra were the dirtiest cities.
To instill healthy competition among the cities and also the sanitation facilities, Swachch Sarvekshan 2016 was launched by Urban Development, 73 cities were ranked. On the similar notes same survey 2017 was issued which ranked among 500 cities of India. The performance elvaluation was controlled by Quality Council Of India (QCI).
Haryana’s Faridabad city has been named the fastest moving city.
